In the next window, click on the Particular adjustment mode button. You will see a list of options like this:
Depending on what you want to reset, you can choose one of these options:
Waste ink pad counter: This option will reset the waste ink counter that tracks how much ink is used by the printer. If this counter reaches its limit, the printer will stop working and display an error message.
Ink charge: This option will charge the ink in the cartridges and clean the print head.
Initialization: This option will restore the printer to its factory settings and erase all the settings and data.
Eeprom data copy: This option will backup or restore the eeprom data of the printer.
Head angular adjustment: This option will adjust the angle of the print head.
Bi-D adjustment: This option will align the print head for bidirectional printing.
Pf adjustment: This option will adjust the paper feed position.
Pf band adjustment: This option will adjust the paper feed banding.
For this example, we will choose Waste ink pad counter as it is the most common problem that users face. Click on Waste ink pad counter and then click OK.
Step 4: Reset Waste Ink Pad Counter
In the next window, you will see two boxes: Main pad counter and Platen pad counter. These are the two types of waste ink pads that collect the excess ink from the printer. Check both boxes and then click on Check to see the current value of the counters.
If either of the counters is more than 100%, it means that the waste ink pad is full and needs to be reset. To reset them, click on Initialization. A warning message will appear asking you to confirm your action. Click OK to proceed.
The program will start resetting the waste ink pad counters. Wait for a few seconds until it finishes. Then, click on Finish aa16f39245
